Türkiye Mobility
Our Turkey mobility, the second phase of our Erasmus+ project, was a memorable experience with 16 students from 2 partner countries. The program was meticulously designed to enhance interaction among students and teachers while strengthening environmental awareness in alignment with the project's objectives.
The activity aimed to explore the history, culture, and ecological richness of Alanya. Here are the highlights of this exciting week:
On the first day, we started with a gathering in the schoolyard, sharing the flavors of traditional Alanya cuisine. In the afternoon, guided by a professional, we explored Alanya Castle, the Red Tower, and old Alanya houses.
On the second day, we learned about the importance of ecological buildings in a seminar led by a local architect and civil engineer. In the afternoon, we visited a solar field in the region, gaining insights into solar energy.
The third day took us on a day trip to Burdur city, where we visited the ecological village named Lisinia. Working on the farm, we had the opportunity to taste local produce.
On the fourth day, we discussed the ecological issues of Alanya during a visit to the Alanya Chamber of Architects and Civil Engineers. In the afternoon, students had free time to roam the streets of Alanya, capturing environmental scenes through photographs.
The final day concluded with a closing ceremony, certificate distribution, and a farewell dinner, where we shared unforgettable moments.
This mobility provided our students not only with language skills development but also with the understanding of different cultures and increased environmental awareness. Feel free to share these unforgettable moments with us by reviewing our photos.
